County’s Purchasing Division honored

Volusia County’s Purchasing and Contracts Division has received a 2021 Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award from the National Procurement Institute. The division has won this award 14 times, including the past eight years in a row.

Volusia County is one of 182 agencies in the United States and Canada, and one of only 42 counties to receive this award, which award recognizes innovation, professionalism, productivity, leadership and e-procurement.

Led by Pam Wilsky, the Purchasing and Contracts Division is tasked with maximizing the purchasing value of public funds and providing safeguards for maintaining a procurement system of quality and integrity.
