Port Orange library kicks off youth programs
Posted On: September 20, 2021
With the arrival of fall, children’s programs are staging a comeback at the Port Orange Regional Library, 1005 City Center Circle.
Kids and their parents can take part in these free programs:
· Storytime in the park: 10 a.m. every Wednesday. Children can sing, read and learn with librarians at City Center Park. The storytimes are designed for 2 to 5 year olds, but all ages are welcome. This program is made possible through a partnership with the library and the Port Orange Parks and Recreation Department.
· Halloween Week: Oct. 25-31. Children in grades 5 and under can go on a spooky scavenger hunt, pick up take-home activities, and trick or treat at the children’s room desk all week long. Costumes are encouraged.
Registration is not required. For more information, call the Children’s Department at 386-424-2910, option 5.
