County Council members to attend public meetings

Two or more members of the Volusia County Council plan to attend the following meetings in September and October:

• Florida Association of Counties conference and directors meeting: Sept. 22 and 23

• River to Sea TPO Board of Directors meeting: 9 to 10:30 a.m. Sept. 29 at 2570 W. International Speedway Blvd., Suite 100, Daytona Beach

• Truck Week Special Task Force: 6 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Ocean Center, 101 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach

• River to Sea TPO Executive Director Search Committee: 9 a.m. Oct. 1 at 2570 W. International Speedway Blvd., Suite 100, Daytona Beach

• Groundbreaking ceremony for Pictona: 11:15 a.m. Oct. 2 at 1060 Ridgewood Ave., Holly Hill

• River to Sea TPO Executive Committee meeting: 10 a.m. Oct. 6 at 2570 W. International Speedway Blvd., Suite 100, Daytona Beach
