Volunteer group plans events at Deltona library

Posted On: October 18, 2021

From baubles to books, the Friends of Deltona Library group is planning a variety of holiday events at the Deltona Regional Library, 2150 Eustace Ave.
First up is Baubles & Bling, which will begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, and continue on Nov. 6 and 7 during regular library hours. The sale will include gently used and still fabulous costume jewelry, purses and other items.

A holiday sale in library’s used book store will run from Nov. 5 to 14 featuring Christmas novels and craft books for $3 and $5 a bag.
Residents can place donations of warm clothing beneath the Mitten Tree in the library’s lobby. Items collected will be donated to the Deltona Presbyterian Church and distributed through its food pantry.
The library is open seven days a week. Hours are noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, 9 to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
To inquire about volunteering in the library, call Christy Jefferson at 386-218-4087.
