Cultural Council to meet Jan. 28

The Cultural Council of Volusia County will meet at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, in room 104 at the Ocean Center, 101 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach.

Members will review and provide feedback on the Florida Department of Transportation Sunrail Art in Public Places program, review the license plate grant application guidelines, and review and discuss Cultural Council By-Laws. Following the meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to view the ECHO Gallery and Art in Public Places collection at the Ocean Center.

The Cultural Council is appointed by the Volusia County Council to advise on matters relating to cultural arts in the community, and to assist in the appropriation of operational grant funding for cultural and heritage organizations in the county.
