County Council plans EMS transport workshop

The Volusia County Council will host an EMS transport workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, in the county council chambers of the Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center, 123 W. Indiana Ave., DeLand.
Mark Swanson, interim director of public protection, and Michel Colman, emergency medical services director, will present an overview of the EMS system, recent impacts and pressures from COVID-19, and the EMS system moving forward over the coming months and years.
