Spring-to-Spring Trail maintenance

Volusia County’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Division will resurface a 3.45-mile section of the Spring-to-Spring Trail from Lake Monroe Park to Mansion Boulevard beginning Friday, March 28.

The trail section will be closed Monday through Friday from March 28 to April 15. The trail section will remain open Saturdays and Sundays.

“This was one of the first sections of long-distance paved pedestrian trail in Volusia County,” said Parks, Recreation and Culture Director Tim Baylie. “We have learned a lot over the last 20-plus years of constructing these trails. This project offers the opportunity to revisit, improve and implement what we have learned and maintain the safety and aesthetic of the trail for the next 20 years.”
