Ormond library introduces seated fitness classes

Are you ready to get fit? Pull up a chair.
The Ormond Beach Regional Library, 30 S. Beach St., will offer two programs for adults who would rather work out while seated. All fitness levels are welcome.
Library staff will lead Sit and Be Fit classes at 11 a.m. on select Mondays starting April 4. This fitness program focuses on stretch and strengthening exercises done while in a seated position. A limited supply of resistance bands will be available for use during the sessions.
Certified yoga instructor Carol Jones will offer a gentle chair yoga practice at 3:30 p.m. on select Tuesdays beginning April 5.
Seating is limited. Registration is not required for these free programs, which are cosponsored by the
Volusia County Public Library and the Friends of the Ormond Beach Regional Library.
