Port Orange library hosts Comic Book Day

The Port Orange Regional Library, 1005 City Center Circle, will join hundreds of libraries and comic book stores in celebrating the 21st annual Free Comic Book Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 7. This national event celebrates all comic books, including superheroes and various graphic novels.

Library staff will dress in cosplay, promote comic books and graphic novels for all ages, and offer free comic books while supplies last. Activities will include a showing of the movie “Into the Spider-verse”at 10 a.m. and comic book trivia at 2:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to check out the library’s extensive graphic novel collection during their visit.
