Drones are becoming increasingly important in today’s society, helping with surveillance, search and rescue, traffic and weather monitoring, and even firefighting.

Join Dr. John Robbins, chair of the Aeronautical Science Department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, as he discusses drone technology and its many applications at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library, 1001 S. Dixie Freeway.
