County’s Purchasing Division honored

Volusia County’s Purchasing and Contracts Division has received a 2022 Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award from the National Procurement Institute. The division has won this award 15 times, including the past nine years in a row.

Volusia County is one of 171 agencies in the United States and Canada, and one of only 36 counties, to receive this award, which award recognizes innovation, professionalism, productivity, leadership and e-procurement.

Led by Pam Wilsky, the Purchasing and Contracts Division is tasked with maximizing the purchasing value of public funds and providing safeguards for maintaining a procurement system of quality and integrity.
