Daytona Beach Regional Library hosts free programs for adults

The Daytona Beach Regional Library, 105 Jackie Robinson Parkway, will offer a variety of free programs for adults in November.
Climb your family tree: 10 a.m. Thursdays, Nov. 3, 10 and 17. Learn the best way to begin your ancestor search during this series of genealogy classes.
Legos for adults: 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7. Who says Legos are just for kids? Stop by and let your inner child go wild. Legos will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own building blocks as well. The theme for this session will be Thanksgiving.
Chess Club: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15. Whether you're an experienced player or new to the game, you may learn a thing or two. After a short lesson about a famous player or strategy, players can learn and play at their leisure.
Salute to veterans: 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16. Halifax Health - Continuing Care will honor local veterans with a pinning ceremony and an expression of gratitude for their sacrifice and service to our country.
