Families can imagine and explore at DeBary library

Children and their families can take part in free programs designed to foster creativity and learning at the DeBary Public Library, 200 N. Charles R. Beall Blvd.
Interactive programs for toddlers and preschoolers include:
- Family tales storytime: 9:30 a.m. each Wednesday
- STREAM Jr. – Tiny Tinkers: 10 a.m. each Wednesday
- Wiggle, Giggle, Groove: 9:30 a.m. each Thursday
School-age children are introduced to STREAM learning during Crafternoons at 3 p.m. each Tuesday.
Saturdays are family days at the library.
- Bring a blanket and popcorn at 10 a.m. each Saturday for a family favorite film.
- Check in at 2 p.m. Saturdays for Imagine and Explore. This self-guided, interactive program is designed to maximize exploration and play as a means of developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, math and reading literacies, and social skills.
Put on your chef hat for the new Recipes and Reads family programs. Learn about nutrition and healthy food choices while making pumpkin milkshakes at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, and veggie pizzas at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22. Books, Balls and Blocks, which will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, is a fun event for families with children ages 0-5. Activities include storytime, activity stations and developmental information. Raffle prizes will be supplied by Help Me Grow Florida.
