Portions of Rail Trail to close for debris removal

Portions of the East Central Florida Regional Rail Trail will be closed to the public during the next two weeks while Volusia County staff removes hurricane debris.

Staff will close sections of the trail from Providence Boulevard to Smith Road in Osteen and from Cow Creek Road in Edgewater to Maytown Spur Road in Osteen beginning Thursday, Dec. 29.

Signs will be posted alerting trail users to the temporary closures.
