County Council members to attend public meetings

Two or more members of the Volusia County Council plan to attend the following community meetings in March:

  • River to Sea TPO Executive Committee: 9 a.m. March 1 in the airline room at Daytona Beach International Airport
  • Volusia Volunteers in Medicine: Noon March 2 at the Florida Department of Health, 717 W. Canal St., New Smyrna Beach
  • Team Volusia Economic Development Corp. annual meeting: 6:15 p.m. March 9 in the Mori Hosseini Center at Daytona State College
  • River to Sea TPO Board of Directors: 9 a.m. March 22 in the airline room at Daytona Beach International Airport
  • Central Florida Commuter Rail Commission: 2:30 p.m. March 23 in the Lynx Administration Building, 455 N. Garland Ave., Orlando
  • Team Volusia Economic Development Corp. Board of Directors: 9 a.m. March 24 at the Sanborn Activity Center, 815 S. Alabama Ave., DeLand

Additionally, two or more members plan to attend the following county-sponsored meetings and events:

  • Tourist Development Council: 9 a.m. March 3 at the Ocean Center, 101 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach
  • Roundtable of Volusia County Elected Officials: 9 a.m. March 13 in the Dennis R. McGee Room at Daytona Beach International Airport
  • Raptor exhibit groundbreaking: 1 p.m. March 20 at the Marine Science Center, 100 Lighthouse Drive, Ponce Inlet

County Council members' presence and participation may constitute a public meeting for purposes of Florida Statutes Section 286.011.
