Opioid advisory board to meet April 11

The Volusia County Opioid Abatement Funding Advisory Board will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, in the Dennis McGee Room of the Daytona Beach International Airport, 700 Catalina Drive, Daytona Beach.

The board will continue exploring eligible uses of the settlement funding and review project-related data. Additionally, members will receive presentations from the Florida Department of Health-Volusia, SMA Healthcare, Volusia Recovery Alliance and the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.

Two or more members of the Volusia County Council may attend the meeting. County Council members’ presence and participation may constitute a public meeting for purposes of Florida Statutes Section 286.011.
