Children and Families Advisory Board to meet April 11

The Children and Families Advisory Board will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, in the Volusia County West Annex conference room, 121 W. Rich Ave., DeLand. 

Members will elect officers and review previous meeting minutes. Members will also review the contingency funding application, funding criteria and evaluation elements for the fiscal year 2023-24.

The meeting’s agenda and materials can be found at volusia.org/cfab. The public is invited to attend, participate and provide comments at the meeting.

Written comments regarding the agenda may be emailed to blouis@volusia.org or by letter to Brittany Louis, 121 W. Rich Ave., DeLand, FL 32720. Comments received by 4 p.m. Monday, April 10, will be presented to the board and become part of the public record. Include your name, address and “CFAB public participation” in your correspondence.

The Children and Families Advisory Board assesses and evaluates strategies to meet needs, monitors program compliance, advertises funding availability, recommends appropriations for programs serving children and families, and provides recommendations to the Volusia County Council on children and family issues.
