Staff to meet with union representatives

Volusia County’s negotiation team will discuss collective bargaining with representatives from three unions in May.

  • International Union of Police Associations, AFL-CIO, which represents the county’s Division of Corrections lieutenants: 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 11
     
  • International Association of EMTs and Paramedics, Local R5-077, which represents the county’s emergency medical technicians and paramedics: 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 18
  • International Union of Police Associations Local Union 6039, which represents the county’s Beach Safety Division: 1:30 to 4 p.m. Friday, May 19

The meetings will be in the second-floor training room of the Historic Courthouse, 125 W. New York Ave., DeLand.
