Children and Families Advisory Board to meet June 13

The Children and Families Advisory Board will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at the Ormond Beach Regional Library, 30 S. Beach St., Ormond Beach.

The meeting agenda and meeting materials can be found at www.volusia.org/cfab. The public is invited to attend, participate and provide comments during the meeting.

Members will elect officers and review previous meeting minutes. The board will review the FY 2023/24 contingency applications and evaluate, score and make funding recommendations. Additionally, members will receive updates for each program and will review a proposed amendment for Children’s Home Society’s contingency program.

The Children and Families Advisory Board assesses and evaluates strategies to meet needs, monitors program compliance, advertises funding availability, recommends appropriations for programs serving children and families, and provides recommendations to the Volusia County Council on children and family issues.
