DeBary Hall plans July events

Lemonade Lecture: Explore our seashores: 1 p.m. Saturday, July 8. Volusia County is well known for its famous seashore. Join Master Naturalist Joan Ferrell and discover what you can find by the seashore – sand, animals, seashells, sea glass and more. Also, gain insights on how you can contribute to the preservation of our stunning beaches. This presentation is part of the free Lemonade Lectures series, sponsored by Volusia County. Light refreshments and lemonade will be served.

Story time at DeBary Hall: 9:30 a.m. Fridays, July 7 and 21. Children are invited to Kids Corner, a free story time featuring stories, songs and activities. The program is designed for preschoolers, but children of all ages are welcome.

Lemonade Lecture: Hands on pruning: 1 p.m. Saturday, July 22. Join Master Gardener Howard Jeffries as he discusses how to properly prune your plants.  Bring your own gardening shears and learn how to clean and sharpen your tools during this free hands-on presentation. This presentation is part of the free Lemonade Lectures series, sponsored by Volusia County. Light refreshments and lemonade will be served.
