Learn about ReGrow the Loop

Learn about conservation and beautification efforts along the Ormond Scenic Loop & Trail during a free open house and workshop from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at the Ormond Beach Regional Library, 30 S. Beach St.

Speakers will provide information and resources to amplify the existing beauty of the loop and ensure its preservation. During the open house portion of the program, attendees will be able to visit with, and learn more about, each organization that is partnering with the county on this initiative.

This workshop is sponsored by Volusia County's ReGrow the Loop initiative, which was created by the County Council to enhance the 30-mile double loop of roadways through education, awareness and collaboration. Volusia County, UF/IFAS Extension Volusia County and other local organizations are collaborating to eradicate invasive plant species, increase native vegetation, attract more wildlife and pollinators, and bring about sustainability practices to those who care about the Loop.

Registration is required; visit https://tinyurl.com/32yj2jjy.
