County Council members to attend public meetings

Two or more members of the Volusia County Council plan to attend the following meetings and events in August:
- Economic Development “Q” breakfast: 7:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, in the Dennis R. McGee Room at Daytona Beach International Airport, 700 Catalina Drive
- Building Homes for Heroes Welcome Home event: 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Rivington Community Center, 833 Terrapin Drive, DeBary
- River to Sea TPO board meeting: 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, in the Airline Room at Daytona Beach International Airport, 700 Catalina Drive
- Dedication of Smokey Yunick Historic Marker: 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, Riverside Park, 135 Riverside Drive, Holly Hill
- Team Volusia Board of Directors meeting: 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, at The Center at Deltona, 1640 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd., Deltona
County Council members’ presence and participation may constitute a public meeting for purposes of Florida Statutes Section 286.011.
