County Council plans special meeting Aug. 23

The Volusia County Council will hold a special meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, in the county council chambers on the second floor of the Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center, 123 W. Indiana Ave., DeLand.

The purpose of the special meeting is discussion and direction on the proposed petroleum bulk station and terminal on 874 Hull Road, including direction on objecting to Air Permit No. 1270233-001-AC issued by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Division of Air Resource Management, and public participation.

Council meetings are open to the public. Public participation and comments are only for matters on the agenda. The meeting will be livestreamed at www.volusia.org/livemeeting.
