Invite wildlife into your yard

Learn how to attract wildlife, pollinators and birds to your yard during a free workshop from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at the Ormond Beach Regional Library, 30 S. Beach St. Speakers will share landscape design techniques that can enhance the beauty of Florida lawns.

This workshop is sponsored by Volusia County's ReGrow the Loop initiative, which was created by the County Council to enhance the 30-mile double loop of roadways through education, awareness and collaboration. Volusia County, UF/IFAS Extension Volusia County and other local organizations are collaborating to eradicate invasive plant species, increase native vegetation, attract more wildlife and pollinators, and bring about sustainability practices to those who care about the Loop.
