It’s Time to Prep Your Fall Garden

With food costs on the rise, it’s small wonder that home gardening is growing more popular.  

Pick up some cool tips on fall vegetable gardening from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Volusia County Agriculture Center, 3100 E. New York Ave., DeLand. Urban Horticulture Agent Brittany Council-Morton will address site and plant selection, seed saving, pests and disease management, proper fertilization, and troubleshooting tips.
