Purr-fect event coming to the Ocean Center

The cat is out of the bag—New Vision Cat Club will host their Cat Week at Daytona Beach this weekend at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach. 

The event will feature over 150 cats comprising at least 35 breeds, including Maine Coon, Ragamuffins, Persians, Siamese, Devon Rex, Ragdolls, Bengals and more, competing for titles including Best Cat in Show. Other activities include a meow mall, feline agility course, cat costume contest and adoption center in partnership with the Southeast Volusia Humane Society.

The show takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 16 and 17. Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased online or at the door on event day. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit https://daytonacatweek.com/.
