Walk and Weed at Bartram Gardens

Volusia County’s Sustainability and Resilience Office will host a free volunteer and learn program from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15.

Residents can join Volusia County Environmental Specialist Holly Giles and Stetson University staff for a tour of Bartram Gardens and Trail at the Stetson Aquatic Center, 2636 Alhambra Ave., DeLand. Participants will identify and remove non-native and invasive species along the way.

This free program is sponsored by Volusia County and Be Floridian Now, a statewide initiative to encourage residents to limit their use of fertilizer. Reservations are required; contact Holly Giles at hgiles@volusia.org or 386-736-5927, ext. 12330.
