Applicants Needed for Children and Families Advisory Board

Are you interested in providing recommendations to the Volusia County Council on issues affecting children and families within our community?

Volusia County’s Children and Families Advisory Board is accepting applications for three open positions from residents living in Districts 1, 3, and 5, which are in west and southeast Volusia. The board also assesses and evaluates strategies to meet needs, monitors program compliance, advertises funding availability, and recommends appropriations for programs serving children and families.

Applicants should have the desire to accomplish the board's objectives, a reputation for integrity and community service, and an interest or experience in family matters or children’s issues if possible. Members will be selected by the Volusia County Council.
