Lake Beresford Park Welcomes Back Guests with Park Improvements

Volusia County Parks, Recreation and Culture is pleased to announce the reopening Lake Beresford Park at 2100 Fatio Road, DeLand. The park was temporarily closed to accommodate construction for the DeLand SunRail expansion project. During the closure, Volusia County staff completed a list of maintenance projects, including a repair to the water system.

Guests can again enjoy the full list of amenities offered at the park, including two playground areas, two pavilions, an internal 1.8-mile multi-use paved trail, and two nature trails. The park also connects to the Spring-to-Spring Trail, where patrons can take a three-mile walk, bike or skate to Blue Spring State Park in Orange City.
