Affordable Housing Committee to Meet Jan. 10

The Affordable Housing Advisory Committee will meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, in the media room at the Emergency Operations Center, 3825 Tiger Bay Road, Daytona Beach. Staff will provide an update on the 2023 affordable housing incentive strategies report.

Additionally, a joint Affordable Housing Committee meeting including the Daytona Beach and Deltona committees will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Emergency Operations Center’s operations room. Members of each committee will provide updates of their affordable housing priorities and discuss next steps. Staff and committee members will also provide an overview of the forums attended at the 2023 Statewide Affordable Housing Conference.

The meeting agenda and meeting materials can be found at www.volusia.org/ahac. The public is invited to attend, participate, and provide comments during the meeting.

Those who are unable to attend the meeting may provide written comments regarding the agenda to cramirez@volusia.org or by mail to Camila Ramirez, Special Projects Coordinator, 121 W. Rich Ave., DeLand, FL 32720. Comments received by 4 p.m. Jan. 9 will be presented to the committee and become part of the public record. Include your name, address and “AHAC: public participation” in your correspondence.
