Transform386 Application Portal to Pause for Maintenance, Onsite Outreach Schedule Revised

Posted On: March 21, 2024

Volusia County will temporarily close the online application portal for the Transform386 Hurricane Ian Homeowner Recovery Program starting at noon on Friday, March 22, for routine maintenance. The online application will reopen at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 1, which will again be available at www.transform386.org.

Due to the application portal's maintenance during this period, Transform386's planned onsite outreach at various public libraries from March 25-29 will be canceled. However, staff will resume their onsite application assistance throughout April with the following schedule:

  • Tuesdays from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Daytona Beach Regional Library, 105 E. Magnolia Ave.
  • Wednesdays from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Port Orange Regional Library, 1005 City Center Circle.
  • Thursdays from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Deltona Regional Library, 2150 Eustace Ave.
  • Fridays from noon to 4:30 p.m. at the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library, 1001 S. Dixie Freeway.

The Transform386 initiative, funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery program, supports eligible homeowners impacted by Hurricane Ian by offering repairs and reimbursement for completed work.

With over 1,000 applications already submitted, affected homeowners are encouraged to apply as soon as possible so staff may begin reviewing their eligibility. Interested applicants can find more information, including eligibility criteria and benefits, by visiting www.transform386.org or calling 386-943-7029.
