Tide Street Beach Access Point to Temporarily Close for Renovations

Volusia County will close the Tide Street Pedestrian Beach Access Point in New Smyrna Beach for renovations starting Tuesday, April 23. The closure will last about three months. During the renovations, residents and visitors can use the nearby Cortez Street Pedestrian Access Point to reach the beach.

Beachgoers are encouraged to download the Volusia Beaches app. The app offers real-time updates on beach access points, locations of staffed lifeguard towers, and safety updates.
