Veterans Services Offices to Close for One Week

All four Volusia County Veterans Services Offices will be closed from May 6 through 10 for staff's annual training and certification compliance, which is required to maintain accreditation per state statutes. The offices will reopen Monday, May 13. The training is designed to enhance the staff's ability to better serve the veteran community.

Veterans service officers serve all former and current members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their dependents in preparing claims for compensation, hospitalization, vocational training, and other benefits and privileges.
