Volusia County and Partners to Host Job Fair at Health Department in Daytona Beach

Multiple divisions from Volusia County, including Emergency Medical Services, Corrections, Votran, and Beach Safety, will join the Florida Department of Health and CareerSource Flagler-Volusia at a job fair to discuss opportunities with potential applicants. The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, at the Florida Department of Health, 1845 Holsonback Drive, Daytona Beach.

Representatives from the County's divisions will detail job responsibilities and offer insights to attendees. Featured job opportunities will include positions for paramedics and EMTs, corrections officers, bus drivers, and lifeguards. Current and former staff in these positions will speak about their direct experiences with potential applicants, providing valuable firsthand insights into the roles. The County's Human Resources Department will also be present to outline benefits available to County employees, inform them how to apply for positions, and assist attendees in applying onsite.
