Transform386 Pauses Weekly Library Events, but In-Person Assistance Remains Available

Transform386's weekly community outreach events at various public libraries, which began in March, will temporarily pause until further notice. Recently, these events have been held at the Daytona Beach Regional, Port Orange Regional, and New Smyrna Beach Regional libraries.

Homeowners seeking in-person assistance to apply for the Single Family Repair and Replacement program can visit Transform386's office at the Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center, 123 W. Indiana Ave., Suite 101, DeLand, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Homeowners unable to travel to the office can arrange an in-person meeting at a location closer to their home by calling 386-943-7029 or emailing transform386@volusia.org.

The Single Family Repair and Replacement program assists eligible homeowners in repairing damage sustained from Hurricane Ian and reimburses those who already have made repairs. Impacted homeowners can learn about eligibility requirements and apply online at www.transform386.org or by contacting staff using the previously listed contact information. A deadline to apply has yet to be determined; however, impacted homeowners are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as applications are reviewed and considered in the order they are received.
