Upcoming Repairs Prompt Temporary Closure of SR 415 Connector Trail

Posted On: June 28, 2024

A portion of the connector trail on SR 415, which links to Seminole County trails from the Coast-to-Coast Trail, will close for repairs starting Monday, July 8. The closure affects about a tenth of a mile of the trail, located approximately half a mile south of Beck Ranch Park on the east side of SR 415.

Due to safety concerns, riders should avoid bypassing the construction area by using the shoulder of SR 415, as this is not a safe passage. Barricades will be placed in the north and south areas of the construction zone. Also, signage will be placed at Beck Ranch Park to inform riders of the closure. The northbound trail from Beck Ranch Park to the Coast-to-Coast trail will remain open. Additional signage will be placed on the north side of the St. Johns River bridge on SR 415 to alert riders of the upcoming trail closure.

The trail is expected to reopen in early November. For additional information on Volusia County trails, visit https://bit.ly/3lDxx7d.
