Additional Volusia County Parks Reopen

Volusia County staff is working hard to remove debris and reopen county-maintained parks and trails to the public. The following update includes all work completed through Sunday, Oct. 13.

Coastal Parks

All coastal parks have reopened. The jetty at Lighthouse Point Park is inaccessible.

Inland Parks and Boat Ramps

Seville Village Park reopened today, Oct. 13. Lake Beresford Park has also reopened, but the trail loop inside the park remains closed.

The following parks and facilities reopened on Saturday, Oct. 12:

  • Barkley Square Dog Park, DeLand
  • Candace R. Strawn/Lake Dias, DeLand
  • Ed Stone Park, DeLand (boat ramp is closed)
  • Hope Place Play Yard, Daytona Beach
  • Osteen Civic Center, Osteen
  • River Breeze Park, Oak Hill (boat ramp is closed)
  • Seville Village Park, Seville
  • Spring Hill Park, DeLand
  • Sylvester Bruten Park, DeLand

All county-maintained boat ramps are closed. DeBary Hall Historic Site also remains closed.

Trails

Most county trails remain closed, but these two reopened today, Oct. 13:

  • Lake Beresford Pathway
  • Blue Spring Pathway
