Volusia County Adds Another Debris Disposal  Drop-off Site in Deltona

Volusia County, in partnership with the City of Deltona, is opening a new vegetative debris disposal site at 330 N. State Road 415 in Deltona starting Tuesday, Nov. 26. This site, like the four existing locations, will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., allowing residents to drop off vegetative debris free of charge. The list of existing County sites includes:

  • 1360 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Orange City
  • 1990 Air Park Road, Edgewater
  • Tomoka Landfill, 1990 Tomoka Farms Road, Port Orange
  • Old Plymouth Landfill, 1991 W. Plymouth Ave., DeLand

To use any of these sites, persons must present identification proving Volusia County residency. Contractors are required to properly dispose of vegetative debris at designated facilities, specifically the Tomoka Landfill in Port Orange or the West Volusia Transfer Station in DeLand at 3151 E. New York Ave.
