ParkVolusia Registrations Surge with More than 56,000 Accounts Created
Posted On: January 3, 2025
As new fee structure regulations went into effect for beach driving on Oct. 1, 2024, and off-beach parking on Jan. 1, Volusia County residents are reminded to register their vehicles with the ParkVolusia program to enjoy complimentary access to both. Since the program’s launch, more than 56,000 accounts have been registered, highlighting its strong appeal to the community.
Registration is quick and easy, with no deadline to apply. Residents just need to ensure their vehicle is registered before their next visit to the beach. Once an application has been submitted, updates and notifications will be sent via email. No stickers, placards, or physical passes will be issued as program registration is verified through license plates. Volusia County residents can register as many vehicles as they like, provided each vehicle is registered in their name.
Non-Volusia County residents can purchase an annual beach driving pass for $150 or an annual off-beach parking pass for $100. For those planning shorter visits, daily passes are available at $30 for beach driving and $20 for off-beach parking, offering flexibility for any length of stay. These options ensure visitors have convenient and affordable access to enjoy Volusia County’s renowned beaches.
Registering online is simple and fast. Go to www.parkvolusia.org to register a vehicle, buy a pass, or learn more. The majority of people are using this convenient option. When submitting documentation online, ensure that all uploaded pictures are clear and not blurry and that the vehicle registration being submitted is current.
