Volusia County ECHO Committee to Score 2025 Grant Applications on February 13

The Volusia County Environmental, Cultural, Historical, and Outdoor Recreation (ECHO) Advisory Committee will meet at 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, in the County Council Chambers of the Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center, 123 W. Indiana Ave., DeLand. The committee will conduct the meeting as a grant review panel to score the 2025 grant applications. Applications receiving a score of 80 or above will be recommended to the Volusia County Council for final approval.
The following applications, which total $1,367,500 in requested funding, will be reviewed:
- The Little Theatre of New Smyrna Beach Production Improvements: $57,500
- The Hub on Canal Arts and Cultural Education Center: $600,000
- Conservation Florida D Ranch Preserve and Nature Center: $600,000
- City of DeBary Bill Keller Park Pickleball Courts and Improvements: $110,000
The committee will also review the updated Direct County Expenditure plan.

Comments received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, will be presented to the committee and become part of the public record.
