Lyonia Environmental Center Plans Summer Camps

Children can enjoy a nature adventure during weekly summer camps at Lyonia Environmental Center, 2150 Eustace Ave., Deltona.
The camps, which will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from June 4 through Aug. 6, include:
Ages 6 to 8 ($100 a week)
- Slither and Crawl: June 9 to 13
Ages 7 to 9 ($100 a week)
- Imaginarium: June 16 to 20
- Ocean Waves: June 23 to 27
Ages 7 to 12 ($25 a day; three-day camp)
- If You had Wings: June 4 to 6
- Shark Frenzy: Aug. 4 to 6
Ages 10 to 12 ($125 a week; includes field trips)
- Florida’s Past, Present, and Future: July 7 to 11
- Radical Reptiles: July 14 to 18
- Full STEAM Ahead: July 21 to 25
Ages 12-15 ($125 a week; includes field trips)
- Invented by Animals: July 28 to Aug. 1
All camps will feature nature hikes, live animal encounters, science experiments, arts and crafts, and games. Children should bring a morning snack, lunch, and water in a refillable container. An afternoon snack will be served.
