2025 Health & Human Services Summit
Posted On: March 28, 2025
Volusia County will be well-represented at the 2025 Health & Human Services Summit, with multiple divisions, including Community Assistance, Transform386, and UF/IFAS Extension, participating in this year’s event. The summit, hosted by One Voice for Volusia, will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach.
The annual summit provides a valuable opportunity for professionals across social services, health care, behavioral health, education, government, and nonprofit sectors to connect in support of a shared goal: strengthening a holistic system of care for the community. More than 75 agencies will be on-site as exhibitors, offering information and resources to attendees. Last year’s event welcomed over 500 participants, and this year’s summit aims to build on that success.
The 2025 agenda includes a variety of timely and practical training sessions on topics such as cybersecurity, collaborative relationship building, recovery-friendly workplaces, self-care, and mental health strategies for schools. Roundtable discussions will explore critical issues including homelessness and housing, access for individuals with disabilities, and self-care strategies for providers working in trauma-related fields.
Volusia County Community Assistance Director Carmen Hall will lead a roundtable session at 11:15 a.m. in Room 101C. She will highlight local resources available to providers and promote the use of the County’s Volusia Helps app, a digital tool designed to connect residents and service providers with the support they need to quickly assist the community. County staff will be available throughout the event to assist organizations in registering with the app.
The summit is free and open to anyone with a passion for service. No registration is required. For more information, visit www.onevoiceforvolusia.org/summit2025.
