Community Invited to Donate to VoTran Stuff-A-Bus Food Drive

VoTran, in partnership with VoTran’s operations contactor, RATP Dev USA, is inviting the community to help “Stuff A Bus” with nonperishable food for local organizations. The Stuff-A-Bus campaign encourages residents to donate nonperishable food that will be loaded onto a VoTran bus and distributed to local organizations.

The community is invited to drop off donations during the Stuff-A-Bus event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, outside the VoTran administrative office at 950 Big Tree Road in South Daytona.
Donations also will be accepted through Sept. 29 during regular business hours, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the VoTran administrative office. Needed items include canned meats, vegetables and fruits, soup, pasta, rice, pasta sauce, peanut butter; jelly, cereal, oatmeal, macaroni and cheese, healthy snacks, baby food, diapers and other personal items. The donations will help local organizations distribute food and other necessities to people in need.
