Santa's Sending Mail to Volusia County Kids

Posted On: November 2, 2026

Santa’s elves are stocking up on stamps and warming up their writing hands, but before the first postcard leaves the North Pole, they need a few names and addresses from Volusia County families.

Santa Claus is once again teaming up with Volusia County’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Division for its annual holiday postcard program. Children ages 12 and younger can receive a greeting straight from the North Pole, addressed to them by name and signed by jolly old St. Nick himself.

To add a child to Santa’s mailing list, parents and guardians can email the child’s full name and complete mailing address to elves@volusia.gov. Requests must reach Santa’s workshop by Dec. 11, giving his busiest helpers time to prepare each special delivery before the big day.

It’s a simple way to sprinkle a little North Pole magic into the holiday season, turn an ordinary trip to the mailbox into a moment kids will remember, and maybe inspire a few extra acts of kindness as December unfolds.
