Volusia County officials urge residents and visitors to avoid non-essential travel due to hazardous road conditions resulting from Hurricane Milton. For those who must travel, the County provides a real-time online road closure portal. Accessing this information before departing can help prevent unnecessary delays and ensure a safer journey.

Officials will make a public announcement when road conditions have improved sufficiently to make travel safe again. The Citizens Information Center (CIC) is open 24/7 until further notice.
