Volusia County Sandbag Stations Open in Preparation for Rising St. Johns River

Volusia County has opened three sandbag stations to assist those in Lake Harney, Hontoon, Astor, and all communities in West Volusia along the St. Johns River who might be impacted by rising water levels.
A self-filling sandbag station is available daily at the following location, residents must bring a shovel:
- Volusia County Road and Bridge | 2560 West State Road 44, DeLand | 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For those needing assistance, pre-filled sandbags are available daily at the following locations:
- Volusia County Road and Bridge | 2560 West State Road 44, DeLand | 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Mariners Cove | 1199 Enterprise-Osteen Road, Enterprise | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Residents may take up to 10 sandbags per household. Stay updated by downloading the Volusia Emergency Management app, following the County’s social media channels, or visiting www.volusia.org.
