Waterwise Landscape Irrigation Ordinance

The Waterwise Landscape Irrigation Ordinance became effective July 1, 2004. Here is an overview of the WaterWise Landscape Irrigation Ordinance.

The Department of Health enforces the ordinance. They, along with Volusia County Environmental Management Division, the Volusia County Chapter of the Florida Irrigation Society, the Volusia Homebuilders Association, and the Water Authority of Volusia have had input regarding revision of the ordinance.
