How to obtain a medical examiner's report

Final reports can be mailed, faxed, e-mailed or picked up at the Medical Examiner's Office, per the requestor's preference.

To request a report:

• Call 386-258-4060; or
• Send your written request to:

Reports may take three to six months from the date of examination to complete.

The Office of the Medical Examiner is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. 
The office is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and county-observed holidays.
