Recycling drop-off sites
Recycling drop-off centers are located throughout the county at county fire stations and solid waste management facilities. Residents may recycle their used motor oil in the white "igloo" drop-off containers.
Dual-sort recycling toters are usually located here, too.
Residents may recycle mixed paper such as:
- Newspapers & Inserts including glossy pages (bags and strings removed)
- Store fliers w/mailing labels
- Writing/school/copy paper
- All envelopes (windowed too)
- Magazines, catalogs, junk mail (all types, please remove any samples)
- Paperback & hardcover books (w/hard covers removed)
- Cardboard including corrugated, detergent boxes, cereal boxes (remove plastic liners), drink & snack boxes (please cut or flatten to 2’ x 2’ pieces)
In the co-mingled toters, residents may recycle:
- Aluminum and Steel Cans
- All aluminum cans
- Steel cans
- Glass bottles (please remove all lids/tops)
- Clear glass
- Green glass
- Amber/Brown glass
- Plastic bottles coded 1 & 2
