Learn and Tour Lessons
DeBary Hall is pleased to share these teacher resources!
Our lessons are developed to provide teachers a chance to offer a creative and innovative lesson based on a historic site. Lessons are based on many themes and develop specialized skills such as critical thinking, innovation, teamwork, creative thinking and imagination. Lesson plans meet the standards of Florida’s Big Idea.
Our lessons consist of three components:
- A classroom lesson plan
- A classroom activity
- A tour* of DeBary Hall
*School tours are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Tours last about two hours. Admission prices are $5 for chaperones and $3 for students.
